What I offer in My service
Pyrography & Graphite artwork handmade and no laser work involved in any of my artwork at any stage. Please note that this is not my full time job yet, so commissioned work can take around 3 months to complete. For all commission work agreed there will be a 30 percent deposit required before starting the work, this covers material's and time. I provide updates weekly on request on my progress of the commission. Once I have started the burning or drawing phase there can be no changes made.
Commission portraits
I offer comission portraits done on 3mm Birch plywood and professional sealed for longevity, and framed with no glass, so that people can see the actual burns in the wood.
Orginal artwork sales.
In my gallery I will price each piece, and should you wish to purchase an orginal piece you can. Each piece comes with a COA ( Certificate of authenticity) and care instructions. Giving you the better knowledge of how to care for your artwork.
Gicélee prints
I also offer top quality Gicélee prints, to suit everyone's budget. These also come with a genuine reproduction COA ( certificate of authenticity). This shows it was purchased directly from the artist.
My Bio
I am based in Oldham, near Greater Manchester, and I am a proud husband and father of two girls. My journey has been anything but traditional. After leaving school, I joined the army as a junior soldier in 1987, serving until 1998 in the Royal Regiment of Fusilier. Following my time in the forces, I worked as a communications and satellite engineer before transitioning into my current career as an HGV driver.
My entry into the art world happened purely by
accident- literally. While recovering at home from a workplace injury, I took up pyrography as a means to pass the time and manage the mental pressure of a long recovery.
From that moment, I was hooked. Today, I continue to create whenever I can. While I still work full time as a heavy goods driver, my ultimate goal is to one day focus entirely on my art, and share my passion with others.
